#WovenContent have created content for over 20 years.  I have worked with national newspapers, magazines and companies.  I have been involved in the production of a book and have always delivered quality content to my clients. Over the years I have taken a keen interest in the delivery of digital stories over the internet.  As a result I have learnt the skills to create cost effective strategies for the delivery of content including animation and digital video. These I have used on my site,, and for my clients. Currently I am  looking into the area of  creation through mobile devices to assist my clients create their own content with advice,  training and additional resources from #WovenContent.

#WovenContent is run by Alan Murphy – a photographer who created my first website back in 1995 when studying in DIT. For all my working life I have been involved with media – I was a TV buyer back in the 80’s and for nearly twenty years I have embraced the digital revolution. While many of my photographic colleagues resisted digital in favour of analogue I saw early on the power of the internet and in 2001 I started – which is now the leading website for photographers in Ireland. Over the years I have created a strategy for online content which has meant that  The Irish Photographers Website has achieved best practice results in terms of SEO and online social interaction. Some of my successful strategies online have included:

  • Original Content for the site such as interviews with leading photographers.
  • News and twitter aggregation so the website is a primary source of Irish photographic news.
  • Development of SEO rich  content such as Tagged Galleries
  • Facebook and Twitter accounts that ensure connection with specific targets.

Over the past two years I have spent resources and time learning the skills involved with production of Short Form Video and Motion Graphics.
